18,000+ PLAYERS | 1,200+ TEAMS | 150+ DIVISIONS
The United Clubs League (UCL) is bringing together a growing network of clubs from across Maryland, Washington, DC, and the surrounding region that share a commitment to providing meaningful, development-focused competition for players of all levels. In its inaugural season, the league has already generated strong interest from clubs representing many hundreds of teams and thousands of players across the U8–U19+ age groups. This early momentum reflects a shared vision among participating organizations: to create a competitive, accessible environment where clubs maintain a strong voice while players benefit from structured pathways aligned with the U.S. Soccer Development Architecture. Below, you will find the logos of the clubs that have already expressed interest in participating, highlighting the collaborative community that is helping shape the future of the league.
As the league continues to grow, the League Structure section provides a deeper look at how competition is organized across each age group. Through the dropdown menus below, explore how divisions are formed, how competition formats vary by age level, and how the league prioritizes player development, enjoyment, and safety at every stage. From small-sided introductory play in the youngest age groups to full-sided competitive pathways for older players, the United Clubs League is designed to deliver meaningful matches while keeping approximately 80% of games within a 40-minute drive — supporting clubs, players, and families with a high-quality experience and a practical travel model.
