BUILDING CHARACTER, SOCCER SKILLS & HEALTHY HABITS
Let’s Play! is a no-cost*, after-school initiative aimed at transforming the lives of 1st-5th grade students by providing a safe, structured, and character-building soccer program. It creates a fun and supportive environment where students learn the fundamentals of soccer, basic nutritional health, and also develop critical social, emotional, and physical skills that contribute to their overall well-being. Let’s Play! IS directly, and positively impacting children’s lives while indirectly, strengthening and positively impacting communities through soccer.
SOCCER FOR EVERY CHILD
We believe that soccer should be for everyone. By investing in local, school-based programs, we’re working to level the playing field of youth soccer, ensuring that every child—regardless of their zip code—has the chance to play, learn, and grow through the world’s most popular sport. This isn’t just about creating soccer players; it’s about building stronger, healthier, and more connected communities. The future of soccer, and the future of these children, depends on breaking down the barriers that have held them back. And we are committed to making that future brighter, one kick at a time.
AMAZING IMPACT
Since our launch in the fall of 2021, we’ve experienced a remarkable 600% growth in the number of schools and children we support. By spring 2025, we anticipate the Let’s Play! program will be reaching over 1,100 children through 38 programs across 26 schools in 8 school districts!
If you are a teacher, school administrator, Principal or Community School Liaison and want your Title 1 or Community Elementary school to be added to the growing list of Let’s Play! schools reach out to one of our Let’s Play! Coordinators (Daren, Kelli or JC) at letsplay@msysa.org!
