Bethesda Academy I 2014 White defeated Elevate Soccer Academy 4-0 in a wet and slippery game. The action all took place in the first half with Bethesda winger Ollie Fox scoring a hat trick and midfielder Diego Vieira de Carvalho adding another. The game had a fast pace and strong play by both sides.

Westminster United Storm: WSA B2012 Westminster United Storm made a strong statement in their MYSA President’s Cup debut, earning a hard-fought 2–1 victory over Cecil FC in the Quarterfinals on May 3, 2026, at Liberty Sports Park.
Storm got on the board first in the 21st minute when Dylan Plotkin, playing at right fullback, made a perfectly timed underlapping run into the box and finished to give Storm the early lead. The team carried that momentum forward, and just before halftime Reece Martin doubled the advantage in style, striking from outside the 18-yard box and slotting the ball into the lower left corner.
Cecil FC responded with a goal in the 54th minute to tighten the match, but Storm showed composure and resilience, holding firm defensively for the remainder of the game to secure the win. Declan Gaither and Reid Hildebrandt both battled through injuries during the 70-minute contest, continuing to contribute and exemplifying the team’s determination.
A key highlight of the match was the complete team effort—every one of the 18 rostered players saw the field and contributed, underscoring the squad’s depth and unity in their first-ever President’s Cup appearance.
The victory continues an impressive run of form for Storm, who are coming off their fifth consecutive EDP RAL league win after a 3–1 result against Potomac at the Soccerplex the previous day. Together, these performances reflect a team hitting its stride at the right time and building momentum in both league and tournament play.
11u Boys – Alliance Lightning vs. Liverpool Central Red: ASC Lightning squared off against Liverpool Central Red in the quarter finals of President Cup. Lightning got off to a quick start with an outstanding free kick by Irembo Karahukayo from 5 yards outside the box. Lightning struck again on a breakaway thru ball by Abel Kreller that was put home by George Lok. Liverpool fought back in the second half, making it 2-1 with 5 to play. Lightning held on with a strong defensive effort and fantastic goalkeeping by Wyatt Bernardo. Both teams displayed outstanding sportsmanship and a tremendous fight on the field.
