CREATE, PRINT, AND EDIT ROSTERS
State Cup Rosters
All participating teams MUST have an official MSYSA State Cup Roster which the coach or manager will bring to each game. For games where an official MSYSA Representative is not present, the HOME team will receive a copy of the Game Card/Match Report via email from the Cup Director 24-72 hours prior to your upcoming match.
APPROVAL PROCESS FOR THE 2024 STATE CUP
- State Cup Rosters will be created by the MSYSA State Office by a process of “cloning” your 2023-24 MSYSA Official Travel Roster. Team Officials/Coaches WILL NOT create your own State Cup Roster.
- Rosters will be “cloned” on March 27th for Girls (11U-18U) and April 3rd for Boys (11U-18U).
- PLEASE NOTE: Boys teams that have been scheduled for a Play-In Match will have their rosters cloned on Monday, February 26th.
- Rosters for the 19U age group will be “cloned” on April 24th.
- PRIOR to the “cloned” date, please contact your Club Administrator to be sure that your 2023-24 MSYSA Official Travel Rosters are correct.
- AFTER the “cloned” date, teams will have the ability to revise (through your club admin) your roster prior to the FINAL FREEZE date
- 11U-18U: (Boys Freeze Date: April 10th, Girls Freeze Date: April 3rd)
- 19U Boys and Girls Freeze Date: May 1st
- You may ONLY have PRIMARY players with a TOTAL of 22 players for 13U-19U teams and up to 16 players for 11U-12U teams.
- All rosters will be “cloned” to your State Cup Roster using the above Roster limitations and rules. All regular roster rules also apply.
- Once your roster has been cloned and you have no changes, there is no further action required. However, if additional changes/approvals are needed to your roster AFTER the cloning date but BEFORE the freeze date, or you need to submit ANY questions, you will need to submit a Support Ticket in GotSport using the form: MSYSA (Maryland) 2024 State Cup/ NCS Competition Team Support/Approval Ticket.

How to PRINT your Official State Cup and Presidents Cup Roster
- For games where an official MSYSA Representative is not present, the HOME team will receive a copy of the Game Card/Match Report via email from the Cup Director 24-72 hours prior to your upcoming match. Please print the Cup Game Card/Match Report from the received email and bring it to the match.
- PRIOR to each match, please print your Official State or Presidents Cup Roster, and bring a copy to each match. Instructions can be found HERE
- Only APPROVED players will show up to print. Only APPROVED rosters will be visible to print. Please contact your club administrator if a player is missing from your roster.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
- DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CREATE any Roster information during the registration process.
- ONLY Primary rostered players may participate in State Cup.
- If you have any Secondary players on your 2023-2024 MSYSA Travel Player Registration Roster that you want to play in State Cup or Presidents Cup, contact your Club Administrator to get the player eligible to be added to your team as Primary BEFORE the above roster clone date.
- Club Pass Players are NOT PERMITTED in State Cup!
- Club Pass Players ARE PERMITTED in Presidents Cup.
- You MUST bring a copy of your Official MSYSA State Cup or Presidents Cup Roster (after approval by the MSYSA State Office) to each game along with a copy of all your teams’ player passes. Instructions can be found HERE
- Delete non-participants from each game’s Game Card by crossing the player’s name out on the actual Game Card.
