The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.

Virginia Friendlies

General Information:

*2021 Edit: For this year the event will be a single day format and include 13U-18U Boys and 13U-15U Girls

Maryland ODP teams participate in the VA Friendlies on the last weekend in February each year. This event is hosted by Virginia Youth Soccer Association and draws ODP teams from multiple states and Regions.

For Maryland, the goal of this event is to help our ODP players come together in a competitive environment without pressure to win. This allows our staff to get to know the players better and helps us tailor the Spring training sessions to better meet the developmental needs of the players and age groups directly.

All players within the ODP pool for each participating age group will travel to this event and play in each game (Participating age groups: Boys 15U-18U, Girls 15U). Fees for event participation are included in the overall program cost (does not include travel).

Hotel Links:

Please note that reserved room links will be posted here in December.

While using these hotel accommodations is encouraged it is not mandatory - these hotels have simply been reserved as a service for families who will travel with their players to this event.

Team Rosters:

All players from appropriate age group pools will participate. Rosters indicating team assignments for 13U/14U/18U will be posted here in February.

Links to Schedules:

The schedules for all age groups will be posted below from VYSA.
