Financial Assistance:
There are a handful of ways to receive financial assistance to reduce the cost of participation, including scholarship and sponsorship.
Scholarship
All players are eligible to apply for need-based financial aid through the MSYSA office. Awards come in partial or full scholarship; a service project must be planned and completed by the player. All complete applications must be received by 5pm on 12/3/2020 to be eligible.
Additionally, boys in the 2005 age group are eligible to apply for the Ian Custodio Memorial Scholarship that will cover program fees for one player each year. All complete applications must be received by 5pm on 12/3/2020 to be eligible.
Sponsorship
Players (and their families) may wish to consider sponsorship opportunities to assist in covering some of their cost. To receive sponsorship, players are encouraged to go to local businesses and seek donations. These sponsorship donations are tax deductible for the business and will be credited directly toward the players' financial responsibilities.
We highly recommend that players utilize our tips, request letter, and fact sheet when addressing businesses or other organizations. All donations should be submitted using the Player Sponsorship Form.
