MSYSA Receives Two Mini-Pitches

MSYSA Receives Two Mini-Pitches

The Maryland State Youth Soccer Association (MSYSA) has received two inflatable mini-pitch soccer fields from Maryland’s Sports Commission. The mini-pitches are branded for the Baltimore, Maryland 2026 World Cup host city bid and will be used to grow excitement around the game of soccer in preparation for the 2026 FIFA World Cup that is being held in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico!

Terry Hasseltine, Executive Director, Maryland Sports Commission and President, Baltimore-Maryland 2026 World Cup Host Destination Committee, said, “I can’t think of a better organization with whom to share these mini-pitches. MSYSA and their incredible affiliates all across the state are going to generate a lot of the much-needed excitement for the game to help bring the 2026 World Cup to Baltimore!”

In addition to being used at various MSYSA events, to include State Cup, Presidents Cup, and the Summer Soccer Academy, the more than 145 MSYSA Affiliate clubs and leagues are also encouraged to borrow the mini-pitches to use at their various tournaments, camps, and clinics.
