The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.

Eric McAleer Bio

Eric McAleer was born and raised in Glasgow, Scotland and is a former professional soccer player, a former Scottish youth national team player and holds a UEFA ‘A’ (i) and a USSF ‘B’ level coaching license. Eric has been attached to the MSYSA board for 20 plus years in various roles and currently works as the Senior VP of Worldstrides Sports who arrange international sports travel for club, high school, ODP and NCAA teams. A former coach for Maryland ODP, DeMatha High School and the Soccer Association of Columbia (SAC), he is hugely passionate about delivering awesome coach and player development opportunities and experiences for our membership. With the ever-changing landscape of youth soccer in the United States, Eric is excited about this second VP role and sees it as pivotal in continuing to stay ahead of the curve and helping keep Maryland Youth Soccer as a key playing in the youth soccer world.
