Data can be entered into the on line system in two ways:
- Direct on line entry by parents (player data) and by team officials of their data
- Entry by team managers of player and team official data collected on paper forms
The first method cannot occur until initial configuration is completed by the clubs which is now in progress. This section will deal with the second method which allows collection of data now (on paper) for entry into the system at a later time.
Since we are entering the second year of system use, data for many of our players are already in the system from 2006 - 2007. It is not necessary to re-enter all data; instead, the family account can be accessed via the User Name and Password created during 2006 - 2007 data entry.
Players
When completing the Membership and Player Registration Form, leave the Player ID Number blank. This number is assigned by the system when player data are entered, and will be copied on the form by the manager. An updated form (version 6/2006) has been posted on the web site to accommodate the new ID number format. If you have already completed the prior version (7/2001) of the form, it will be accepted. When entering the Player ID number on the old form, use the existing boxes and continue with the last few digits immediately to the right of the boxes.
Adult Officials
The on line system will assign an Adult Official ID Number when the registration information is entered. Adult Officials must still provide their Social Security Number (SSN) as part of the Risk Management program, but it will no longer be used as their ID number. The system-assigned number will be printed on the Adult Official USYS card and on the Adult Official Registration form printed by the on line system. For those completing paper forms for data entry at a later time, please provide your SSN on a separate piece of paper instead of on the paper registration form. The system-assigned number will be placed on the form after data entry. An updated form (version 6/2006) has been posted on the web site to accommodate the new ID number format. If you have already completed the prior version (7/2001) of the form, it will be accepted.
