Below are testimonials from staff and participants on previous ODP International provided by WorldStrides Excel:

Staff Members:

“What an amazing trip to London!  From the very beginning and ending at Heathrow, Woodie Wood (our WorldStrides Tour Guide) was always with us – practices, games, tours, Underground transport, meals – Woodie was there to guide us every step of our journey, and what a journey it was. The International Friendly matches were exciting to watch realizing this was a first for many, including the UK players.  Coach Steve Senna was awesome in his coaching style and manner with each individual player, turning the switch from playing matches to fun as he set the example each day.” - Linda Norton MSYSA Girls London

“I was honored and humbled to have represented MSYSA and accompany the 2003 ODP Boys on their recent trip to Scotland. The boys travelled well, adjusted quickly to the new culture and soaked up the amazing soccer atmosphere. They were a very close group that worked hard at training every day, responded to Coach Prachar and rose to the challenges of the soccer at friendly matches. Worldstrides Excel and our very experienced tour manager had planned every detail which made for a very successful trip. Players and parents alike all came back with new friends and lots of memories that will be with all of us for the rest of our lives.” – Laurie Lane, MSYSA Boys Scotland

“Regarding the trip, it was so well-organized from when we landed in Italy to when we departed. Our representatives, Priscilla and Leo, were so welcoming and did a great job to adapt to the scheduled events. The competition was perfect and we were able to hang out after the game to meet and eat with the teams. We did a lot of sight-seeing which is expected in such a beautiful country like Italy. I'm so glad the girls were able to attend a Serie A game too. Going to the stadium to watch a top-notch club play felt like a special treat. All of us can't stop commenting on such a fun time we had. Many of the girls swapped emails with the Italian players so maybe within a year, the girls will be fluent in Italian! Thank you again for organizing such a wonderful trip!” – Jill Rutten MSYSA Girls Italy

Participants:

“The trip was amazing and so well organized. Your folks on the ground that led the groups were excellent and so impressive. The schedule was full of wonderful events and the boys had an awesome time. Our family loved the trip and we are all so glad to have had the opportunity to go. Thank you so much for everything you do to make these trips. All of your hard work and organization really pays off on the user end when the trip goes as great as this one!” Gabi Koeppel MSYSA U15B Barcelona

“The MD ODP U13 Girls London trip was awesome and exceeded our expectations!! Thank you WorldStrides Excel for a great experience!!” Allison A. Parent

“This trip far surpassed my expectations. The tour guide, Leonardo Calabretta, should be commended! He did a fantastic job with both the players and the parents. He was very accommodating and went over and above to make sure we were all happy. The places we visited were great and having the time to stop and learn the history of the area was fantastic. But for me the best part was being able to watch my son play soccer in Italy! Thank you for all of your hard work and efforts that went into planning this trip!” -Jim Hott, Parent MSYSA Boys ODP, Italy
