1998 Girls 2013 Region I Tournament Team

Congratulations to the players that were selected. To the players that were not selected, please know that you are still a part of the Maryland State ODP and that you should continue to attend training sessions to prepare for the Region I ID Camp in July. More information concerning the ID Camp will be posted here as soon as it becomes available.

For the players that were selected, payment in the amount of $100.00 must be received in the MSYSA state office by Friday, May 10, 2013 to secure your place. A payment form must accompany each payment.

The 2013 Region I Tournament is being held in Mercer County, NJ on the weekend of June 7-9, 2013. The specific game schedule for the 1998 Girls will be posted here as soon as it becomes available. Parents/guardians are responsible for securing lodging and transportation to and from this event for themselves and their player(s). Hotel accommodations are being managed by AB Sports Zone.

To book a hotel room please click the following Hotel Reservation Link, click the button labeled “Reserve” beside the correct hotel for your player. The 1998 Girls will be staying in the Staybridge Suites North Brunswick (2195 US Highway 1, North Brunswick, NJ 08902).

After clicking “Reserve” select the number of rooms (1) *Only one hotel room per selected player/parent/guardian has been blocked* and then click “Reserve” again. Finally, click “Checkout” and complete the transaction by entering your payment information.

The 2013 Region I Tournament is being held in Mercer County, New Jersey on the weekend of June 7-9, 2013. This tournament is by invitation only as the team roster is limited to 18 players (including goal keepers). The coaching staff has been asked to make their final selections after training on Monday, May 6, 2013. The team selections will be posted on this website by Wednesday, May 8, 2013.

Parents/guardians of selected players are responsible for securing lodging and transportation to and from this event for themselves and their player(s). Hotel booking information will be posted on this website as soon as it becomes available. Hotel rooms will be blocked by team (e.g. the 1998 boys will have their rooms together in a single hotel) and parents/guardians will be required to secure their room (for themselves and their player(s)) in that hotel room block. This will ensure that the team is together and is located in a general vicinity to make potential team meetings more feasible for the coaching staff and to allow the players to interact with their teammates. The parents/guardians will be responsible for transporting their player(s) to and from games, for feeding their player(s) and for watching their player(s).

(UPDATED 4-9-13) Due to the limited availability of hotel rooms this year only one room per selected player will be blocked.
