MSYSA has arranged for a charter bus service to take players to the 2015 Region I ODP ID Camp being held at the University of Rhode Island this summer. The charter busses for the 2002 (U13) Girls will leave from the Broken Land Park and Ride located off route 32 in Columbia, MD on Saturday, July 4, 2015 at 1pm and will return to the same location following the conclusion of the ID Camp on Thursday, July 9, 2015 by 9pm (estimate). Players that are interested in reserving a seat on the charter bus should complete and submit the following payment form by Friday, June 12, 2015.

The charter bus payment of $225 includes the ride to camp and back home again in addition to an extra night stay in the University of Rhode Island residential hall and three extra meals (dinner on the ride up and breakfast and lunch on the day that camp begins in the university cafeteria).

The 2015 Region I ODP Tournament is being held on the weekend of June 5-7, 2015 in Mercer County, New Jersey. A total of 54 players have been selected from the 2002 Girls training pool to attend this event.

Please note that these selected players are guaranteed to attend the 2015 Region I ODP Tournament. However, as the three teams are tiered (Team A, Team B, Team C) players are still able to move from one team to another based on performance through the conclusion of training on Monday, June 1, 2015.

The specific game schedule for the 2002 Girls will be posted here as soon as it becomes available. Parents/guardians are responsible for securing lodging and transportation to and from this event for themselves and their player(s). Hotel accommodations are being managed by AB Sports Zone.

The 2002 Girls Team A, Team B and Team C will be staying at the Heldrich New Brunswick (10 Livingston Ave., New Brunswick, NJ 08901). AB Sports Zone Policies

  • All changes and cancellations must be made through the online reservation system, or by fax or email to AB Sports Zone. Cancellations received after 4:00 PM EST, Monday-Friday, may be processed as if received the next business day.
  • All changes and cancellations must be received in writing via email, or made online by 4:00PM EST on or before your cancellation date to avoid penalty.
  • There is a 30 day team/group cancellation penalty period. A team/group is defined as 50% or more of a team’s group reservation being canceled or released within 30 days of the tournament.
  • Quads sleep four, triples sleep three, doubles sleep two. Bed type may vary (double/double, king with sofa bed, king with rollaway, etc.).
  • Hotel amenities are subject to change without notice. Outdoor pools are open at the discretion of the hotel.
  • Minimum stay requirements or early departure fees may apply.
  • Requests will be noted, but cannot be guaranteed. They may involve an additional charge.
  • All rates are flat rates per night and do not include taxes, fees or parking charges.

A total of three teams from the U13 training pool will be selected to attend this event (18 players per team for a total of 54 players). The list of selected players will be posted on this website by Wednesday, May 6, 2015. Please note that once the players are selected, they are guaranteed to attend the 2015 Region I ODP Tournament. However, as the three teams are tiered (Team A, Team B, Team C) players are still able to move from one team to another based on performance through the conclusion of training on Monday, June 1, 2015.

Every player in the U13 Girls training pool that is currently in good standing is listed on one of the three U13 Girls rosters for the upcoming VA Friendlies. The rosters are as follows:

Unless told otherwise, players should bring their entire training kit to every game (player kits will be distributed at the first training session) and should plan on arriving 45 minutes prior to the scheduled start time for each game.

Every Maryland State ODP U13-17 player has the opportunity to receive a written evaluation from one of the Maryland State ODP professional coaches this season. Every player will be issued their official Maryland State ODP Player Journal at the first training session. Player's should place their name on the front cover and should use their journal to reflect on their experiences throughout the season. 

In the back of the player journal is a self-evaluation form (one for field players and one for goalkeepers). Players desiring a written evaluation from one of the Maryland State ODP professional coaches must complete their self-evaluation prior to handing their journal to their Maryland State ODP coach after the final training session this season (June 15, 2015). The coaches will review the journal and will complete a written evaluation, based solely on the players performance in comparison with the rest of the training pool, and will return the journal to the player at the Region I ID Camp in July, 2015.

Room Cancellation Policy

Individual cancellations made after 8:00 AM ET on Monday, February 9, 2015 are subject to a $10 fee per room and a per room cancellation fee of 1 night’s room rate and tax at the hotel’s discretion. All cancellations must be made using the Online Reservation System https://blackbird.anthonytravel.com/customerside/ChangeRequest_Home.cfm. This process will require a change request to be submitted and only once a confirmation has been received will the requested change be complete.

Change Policy

Reservation change requests will be accepted online at Anthony Travel Online Reservation System Follow the link to submit changes to your name, check-in, check-out dates, cancel your room, change form of payment, and add special requests. Changes will be accepted online until 8:00 AM ET on Monday, February 9, 2015. After 8:00 AM ET on Monday, February 9, 2015 changes and cancellations will incur a $10 change fee per room.
