Because Maryland State ODP tryouts are held in November/December and cold weather is expected, all players (and parents) should dress appropriately. Also, arrive early enough to check in at the registration table and to warm up properly.
The ODP tryout t-shirt must be visible at all times to ensure proper evaluation by our coaches. Attempting to wear the tryout shirt over multiple sweatshirts and training tops isn’t always the most "comfortable" idea. We want all players to be focused on the ball, their teammates and their opponents, not on how uncomfortable they feel while playing. Please read the recommendations below to ensure you are properly prepared, comfortable and safe for ODP tryouts.
NOTE: Please do not wear clothing or carry bags that display club or tournament logos to Maryland State ODP tryouts.
