Maryland Teams Finish Second, Fourth in the Country at US Youth Soccer National Presidents Cup
MON, July 16, Glen Burnie, MD – Three Maryland youth soccer teams competed against some of the best teams in the country last weekend at the 2018 US Youth Soccer National Presidents Cup in Westfield, Indiana.
The Pipeline Soccer Club Black 13U girls team and the Liverpool FCIA Western Maryland 18U boys both finished fourth in the country after four hard-fought games. The Arundel Soccer Association PGSA Real Barza 14U boys finished second in the country after a close championship battle against the Central California Aztecs.
MSYSA is proud of all three teams for their hard work and dedication to the beautiful game. Best of luck to the players, coaches, team officials and parents in all future endeavors.
The US Youth Soccer Presidents Cup is designed for those teams seeking additional challenges to play against teams of similar abilities for a national title. The cup provides a progressive, competitive experience to teams that might not otherwise get the opportunity to participate in a series of unique experiences highlighting competition, camaraderie and community from the state to regional to national levels of US Youth Soccer.
