Study Finds Maryland High School Soccer Players Among Most Sought After by DI Schools
The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Research department recently released data announcing that Maryland high school soccer players are among the most highly recruited by Division I (DI) Schools in the United States. Maryland ranked number one with the highest percentage of boys recruited across the entire country and ranked fourth for girls in the same category!
These statistics show that Maryland state youth soccer coaches, programs and facilities are among the finest in the nation as they produce more highly-recruited DI athletes than nearly any other state in the country. Maryland youth soccer players have proven to be motivated and hardworking, earning these rankings and securing their spots on DI rosters each year. Everyone involved in Maryland youth soccer should be proud of their contributions to the game and of the impact that they are having nationwide.
The Maryland State Youth Soccer Association (MSYSA) is proud to positively contribute to the lives of these young players and to be an integral part of the youth soccer ecosystem in the great state of Maryland. MSYSA is constantly working to enhance and improve the soccer experience for all youth players!
