English Premier League comes to Baltimore

EPL giants, Liverpool and Tottenham, will play an exhibition match on July 28 at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, MD in a first-ever match up between two English Premier League teams on American soil. The Baltimore Ravens are hosting the event; their third international soccer match in four years.

To further encourage the local soccer family to come out and enjoy a great afternoon of top-class soccer, the Ravens is teaming up with the MSYSA for a number of promotional events connected to the match. One such initiative is a ticket rebate program for clubs and associations. Local soccer organizations will be eligible to receive a $5 rebate for each ticket purchased by its members.

Tottenham will maintain close Maryland soccer ties long after the final whistle as they begin a five year partnership with Baltimore-based; Under Armour, in July. As part of the UA collaboration, several Maryland based clubs have already established grassroots partnerships with the EPL club; SAC, Potomac, Freedom, and Pipeline soccer.

Stay tuned for additional initiatives designed to ensure this event will be more than just a game for the Maryland soccer family!
