Five Maryland Teams Crowned as 2018 US Youth Soccer East Regional Champions
MON, MAY 14, Glen Burnie, MD – Five Maryland teams have secured their spots in the 2018 US Youth Soccer East Regional Championships after earning the East Regional League (ERL) Champion title during the league playoffs this past weekend.
Maryland led the East Region with the most teams to claim ERL championship titles.
“We’re very proud to have five teams representing Maryland as East Regional League champions,” MSYSA Executive Director Flo Egan said. “Best wishes to those teams as they advance to the next level of the competition.”

13U Boys - Baltimore Celtic Elite
13U Girls - Pipeline SC Pre-Academy
16U Boys - BRAUSA 02 Blue
17U Boys - OBGC Rangers Blue
17U Girls - Premier SC Navy
US Youth Soccer states that any ERL champion who also wins its US Youth Soccer State Cup will advance to the East Regional Championships as the State Cup representatives. The ERL qualifying spot will be given to the next highest ERL finisher who has not won its State Cup.
The East Regional Championships will run from June 29 through July 3 at the Publix Virginia Soccer Training Center and Embrey Mill Complex in Spotsylvania, Virginia. Regional winners will advance to the 2018 US Youth Soccer National Championships from July 23-29 at the Toyota Soccer Center in Frisco, Texas.
