Maryland State Youth Soccer Association along with US Youth Soccer is excited to announce that the National Youth License will be offered this summer at St. Thomas More Academy in Buckeystown, Maryland.
The National Youth License focuses upon the nature of children and the adjustments adults must make to coach them. The course curriculum covers the ages of 6-12 years old. All Coaches, Directors, and Administrators involved with youth soccer will benefit greatly from the knowledge gained from the National Youth License.
The course tuition is $675 for MSYSA affiliate coaches, $750 for non-affiliate coaches. This is a “commuter” cost, which means that meals, transportation to site and overnight accommodations are not included. This is a state hosted course. MSYSA will coordinate all aspects of the course including: applications, payments, administration and inquiries. Applications will be processed on a first come first served basis and space is limited.
ELIGIBILITY
Applicants must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Hold a minimum of a State or National "D" License or NSCAA equivalent
- You may attend the course if you do not hold a "D" with written permission from your respective state director of coaching

All application materials must be received no later than June 30th , 2012. Space is limited for all National Youth Licenses; applicants failing to submit final payment by the deadline will have their registration cancelled. Applicants who cancel less than 3 weeks prior to the start of the course are not eligible for a refund unless another candidate is found to take their place.
Check-in procedures will be emailed to fully paid applicants approximately 2 weeks prior to the course. MSYSA do not recommend finalizing travel arrangements until registration is confirmed, and is not responsible for airline penalties or any other costs.
